How do I know if my product was purchased from Skar Audio?

Skar Audio customers can ensure that they are purchasing authentic Skar Audio products when the purchase is made from the seller name "skar-audio". Purchases made from 3rd party sellers on eBay are not eligible for returns or warranties under Skar Audio's Return and Warranty policies. Return requests for items purchased from 3rd party sellers should be directed to the 3rd party seller.

Return an Item - Refunds

How can I return my item for a refund?

Customers can start their start their return for a refund when purchasing on eBay in two ways:

Option 1

  1. Log into your eBay account.
  2. Go to My eBay > Purchase History.
  3. Click on Return this item.
  4. Select your reason for the return from the drop-down menu.
  5. Upload pictures if necessary.
  6. Hit Send.

Once your request is received and approved by our Customer Support Team, you will be provided with a Prepaid Return shipping label to have the item returned to us.

Upon receipt of your item, we will process your refund within 48 hours of its arrival. Your refund will be processed to your original payment method used at the time of check out, and you can expect the funds to be returned in 3 to 5 business days from the date of processing (in most cases, much sooner).

Option 2

While the most efficient way is to process your return for a refund is using Option 1, our Customer Support Team stands ready to assist you in starting a return request for a refund.

Products purchased in NEW condition from Skar Audio benefit from a 2 Year Limited warranty. Products purchased in a USED or REFURBISHED condition benefit from a 1 Year Limited warranty.

How do I start warranty claim?

Skar Audio customers who purchase from our official store on eBay can contact us to start their warranty claim within the allotted time period by following the steps below:

  1. Customer's can message us directly through eBay by going to your Purchase History and selecting Contact the Seller
  2. Submitting a form via our Contact Us page or emailing our Customer Support Team directly at support@skaraudio.com. Please be sure to include your original order number in your subject line or email.

Upon receipt of your contact to us, we will be happy to issue you an RMA# for the return of your item for review under Skar Audio's Warranty policy.

***Please do not send products prior to contacting our Customer Support Team and receiving an RMA#. Any items received that were not preauthorized for a warranty claim will be returned to the customer without review.

Skar Audio customers returning items for a warranty claim outside 30 days from the date of purchase are responsible for any return shipping of their items to Skar Audio. Skar Audio will gladly cover any shipping back to you after final resolution of your warranty claim.

How should I send in my item?

You are free to choose the carrier of your choice to send in your items for warranty. We accept shipments from many carriers, however, we recommend using a carrier that will provide you tracking information so you can follow your items while in transit to our facility.

Please be sure to include a copy of the form below, which will also be given to you at the time we issue your RMA#. It is critical that this is included with your item so we can associate your item with your information upon arrival. We also recommend writing the RMA# on the outside of your shipping container in case your item is opened in transit.

What can I expect after Skar Audio receives my item for warranty?

Upon receipt of your item to our facility, we ask for 3 to 5 business days to review and test your product (in most instances, we complete this much sooner).

Please include accurate contact information on your Skar Audio Warranty Return Form (above) so that we can contact you as quickly as possible with the outcome of your warranty.

Once we are able to contact you with the resolution to your Warranty Claim, we are happy to ship your item or its replacement to you using standard shipping.
